Dhaka Streets at Dusk was photographed while walking along the Buriganga River, the railway tracks, and the narrow back streets that run through Old Dhaka. The Buriganga has long been central to the city’s movement and livelihood, and in the evening its banks fill with people finishing work, travelling home, or simply spending time outside.

As daylight fades, the pace of the streets shifts. Vendors pack up their stalls, rickshaws move steadily through the traffic, and children play along the river’s edge. Industry, homes, and informal spaces exist side by side, and the river reflects both the fading sky and the constant movement of the city.

The series is about small moments of everyday life, how people move through the city at dusk, and the shared rhythms that emerge as the day turns into evening.
